 This is Me When I was About 15

Well Back in Christmas of 1968 I got my first guitar I was 11 yrs. old (Really a Cigar Box and Some Rubber Bands Was My First) my little brother he got one of the plastic guitars with nylon strings boy was he mad I got a real one.You wouldn’t call it a real one now days,But I was happy with it. So on Saturday evenings me and my dad would watch the country music shows they would come on at 5:00pm and the last show would be at 10:00pm when they went off, Man my dad loved me trying to learn guitar but he didn’t expect me to try to play through all of his TV shows.

But I still have the old guitar the only thing wrong with it is my parents didn’t know how to buy guitars if they would of only known that a name brand would of been worth a lot of money today oh well it was the thought that counts and my 3 boys are already saying who wants it when I’m Gone.

Back in the 1960’s my mom and dad shop at this department store all The Time in Houston,Tx Over on Federal Rd. It was called Whites Department Store (you know how stores carry there brand of things Like Sears is Kenmore I think) well this store had a brand that was called Catalina brand stoves,Refrig,dishwashers, and My Guitar is A Catalina..lol well its 39 years old now it wasn’t that bad of guitar to hold up that many years But It was my First,I will be posting a picture of me and my brother playing our first guitars at Christmas time.
